The deadline for submitting public comments for the state revised Environmental Impact Report (EIR) just a few days away on 1/30/2026. Here is a link to a petition jointly crafted with Save Mt. Del Puerto Water District says they want to only hear concerns about downstream impacts to terrestrial (land-based) wildlife, but they are also required to consider new developments that are not addressed in their new EIR. This includes both the sightings of condors in the area and recent series of earthquakes near the proposed project area.
